The Historical Evolution of Mengjiagang Town

After the founding of the Republic of China, 19 16 Huachuan County established Yongfeng District and 1930 established Yongfeng Town. After the fall of Northeast China, it was designated as a key area for Japanese immigrants by the Japanese invaders. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), it was changed to fourth area on July 1950. 1April, 956, the village was divided into townships, and Mengjiagang Township was established. 1September, 958, it merged with Bahuli Township and changed its name to Mengjiagang People's Commune. 1June, 972, the southern region was demarcated and the Bahuli commune was established. 1March, 984, Mengjiagang commune was changed to Mengjiagang town.
