American H3 visa

H3 visa is a work visa issued by the United States to foreigners for American companies or institutions to go to the United States for training. The purpose of training is to promote the development of trainees' business or work in their own countries. It is necessary for trainees to receive training in the United States, because they can't or can't receive such training in their country of residence. H3 visa belongs to work visa, but the purpose of work is not to bring direct profits to employers, but to let students acquire knowledge, technology or skills through work.

There is no absolute stipulation on the residence time of H3 visa in the United States, but generally, the time for attending a training program does not exceed 18 months, and the residence time does not exceed 2 years, with the maximum extension of 1 year each time. If it has been more than 2 years, it shall not be postponed or transferred to other identities. If you want to change your identity, you need to apply for 6 months outside the United States (H3 visa is within two years, and you can change to other visas as long as you meet the conditions, such as H 1B, H 1A, L 1 etc. ). While working in H3, the employer can apply for an immigrant work permit, but cannot apply for an extension of H3 status. Special education (education for disabled children) projects can also apply for H3 training visas, but there are 50 visas per year, and the validity period is only 18 months.

H3 visa detailed process and necessary documents

1. The approval letter must be approved by the US Immigration Service. If the applicant applies for a US work visa in China, he/she must wait until the embassy receives the I- 129 and I-797 approval forms from the Immigration Bureau before applying for a visa.

If the applicant changes his identity in the United States, his approval letter does not need to be sent from the immigration office to the embassy, but when applying for a visa, the applicant must show the original I-797 form.

H 1 visa:

H2 visa:

H3 visa

L visa:

L visas are issued to people who will be sent to work in American branches or related companies. Applicants must hold management positions in the United States, or have specialized knowledge, and have worked for the same employer or company for at least one year in the three years before applying for a visa. The visa is valid for 2 years 1 time, and the visa fee is free. It is valid for many times within 2 years, and the license signing fee is RMB 1080 yuan (120 USD).

Please note:

1 approval. L visas must be approved by the us immigration service first. After the embassy receives the I-797 and I- 129 forms sent by the Immigration Bureau, the applicant can apply for a visa at the visa office.

3. If the applicant applies for a visa with the company-specific L- 1 (blank L- 1), the original and two copies of the I- 129s form must be presented. The original will be returned to the applicant after the visa is approved.
