According to the latest news from the New Zealand Immigration Bureau, the immigration policy for parents' reunion in New Zealand was promulgated on July 30th, 20 12. Its main contents are as follows:

Parents' migration is mainly divided into two categories: one (priority category) and the other (general category).

Parent reunion level

Applicants need to meet all the following requirements:

1. meets one of the following conditions:

The annual income of single applicants is S $27,203/year, and the total annual income of couples is S $39,890/year;

Take 500,000 Singapore dollars to live in New Zealand;

The guarantor's annual income is S $65,000 (single) or S $90,000 (married);

2. No minor children except the guarantor;

3. IELTS has two 4-point language training fees or 1735 Singapore dollars.

Parental reunion level 2

The applicant meets all the following requirements at the same time:

1. The guarantor's annual income exceeds S $33,675/year;

2. None of the applicant's children live in China;

3. No minor children except the guarantor;

4. IELTS has two 4-point language training fees or 1735 Singapore dollars.

Special preventive measures

At first, the new policy should be submitted to the pre-trial (EOI), and only after the pre-trial is passed can the materials be formally submitted to the Immigration Bureau.

Parental reunion class I will take precedence over parental reunion class II.
