When will Dongyuan Reservoir start construction?

Dongyuan Reservoir started construction during the Tenth Five-Year Plan period.

During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, the expansion project of Dongyuan Reservoir was started, the construction of East Lake hub was completed, and the water system connection between the Ministry of Water Resources and the Ministry of Finance and the pilot county project of Shuimei Village continued.

The total investment of Dongyuan Reservoir expansion project is about 5 billion yuan. After the expansion, the total storage capacity is 33.69 million m3, the flood control storage capacity is 7.94 million m3, about 3,700 people need to be resettled, and 5,200 mu of land will be permanently requisitioned.

With a total investment of about 200 million yuan, Donghu Hub will build a sluice in Lipu Town, the main stream of Dongyang River, with an installed capacity of 1600kW. After the project is completed, it will create a clear water corridor with good water environment and economic and industrial upgrading for our region.
