A brief history of Shuangyang community villages

Nie Zhuang: At the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, the war in the Central Plains continued, the population dropped sharply, and the land was barren. In the Ming dynasty, the court took resettlement as a revitalization move. During the forty years from the early years of Hongwu to the middle period of Yongle (1368- 1398), Shanxi people moved to the Central Plains for many times, especially Hongdong. Nie Yu Yongle moved to Changgang Temple in the northwest of Cao County, Shandong Province in the second year, and moved from Changgang Temple to the old village in the southwest of Heze in the first year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1488). Later, Grandma Nie San moved to the south embankment of Heze to build Nie Zhuang. Later, Nie Yue, Zhang He moved here. This village was once very prosperous, and Cui Shi became a big local family. In the middle of Qing dynasty, due to years of war, the people were poor and the villages were neglected in management and construction. Years of heavy rain washed out several large ditches at the east and west ends of the village, which looked like gourds and were called "Cuihulugou". And this, the world knows more about Cuihugou, which naturally becomes the name of the village. By about 30 years of the Republic of China, the population of Cui Shi dispersed and moved out, which led to the disappearance of Cui Shi in the village, and Nie, He and Zhang moved in one after another. At that time, the Kuomintang government collected a lot of taxes, which was unbearable for the people. The then village head changed his name to "Sanxingzhuang" according to the three surnames of Nie, Zhang and He in the village at that time, resulting in nowhere to be found in the government books at that time. By the time the government found out that the so-called "Sanxingzhuang" and "Cuihugou" were actually a village, it had not paid taxes for three years. "Three surnames Zhuang" has been used to this day. There are more than 700 people in this village now.

During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, Wu moved from Hongdong County, Shanxi Province to Xiwusi Village, which is now the office, and later another one moved to Wuzhuang, Nanguan, Heze. In the early Qing Dynasty, another branch moved from Nanguan Wuzhuang, Heze to the south of the city levee. After a hundred years, the population has flourished and increased year by year, and it has become a village called Wuzhuang. There are more than 300 people in this village now.

Hezhuang: Hezhuang is located on the east side of the southern section of Mudan Road. The son of Lu, Xuande moved from Hongtong County in Shanxi Province to Huixian County in Henan Province in the seventh year of Ming Dynasty, and then moved to Sok Li Village, twenty miles southeast of Dingtao City. Uncle Shang, the sixth ancestor of He family, settled in Heze, and there were "Uncle He Family Mansion" and "He Family Ancestral Hall" in Heze city. The twelfth ancestor, Meng Yan, moved to Nandi. Hundreds of years later, she thrived, with a large population and no other surnames, hence the name "Hezhuang".
