With the improvement of transportation facilities, Zigong has a rare development opportunity. As the geographical center of southern Sichuan, Zigong must make itself more attractive, so that people from other cities in southern Sichuan can flow to Zigong, and once people flow together, it is difficult to develop.

1. Travel. As a resource-based city, Zigong's tourism resources are extremely scarce in Sichuan and even in southern Sichuan. There are no other natural tourism resources except the Lantern Festival with a very short period and dinosaurs with high and low music. Where is the way out? I think we must start with our salt culture, strive to create a street of salt culture, and strive to show the ancient salt-making methods while restoring the salt culture in Zigong's heyday and the scenes of people's life and work at that time.

2. The combination of pan-entertainment and food. According to the characteristics that Zigong is located in the geographical center of southern Sichuan, we will strive to introduce and build several entertainment facilities to attract young people, supplemented by a food street in southern Sichuan to attract people to gather.

Strive to strengthen the construction of logistics infrastructure, strive to become the gathering point and distribution point of logistics in southern Sichuan, and be willing to serve as logistics for the development of other cities in southern Sichuan. As long as the logistics is developed, the city will be a thriving scene.

In short, as long as people and logistics are well drained, other industries will naturally come. As long as we judge the situation and develop other industries, Zigong will glow with new vitality.

We should try our best to collect the resources in the surrounding areas to develop ourselves and strengthen the cooperation in the surrounding areas in order to break through the regional restrictions. After all, even Chengdu is doing things like introducing domestic products and communicating with foreign countries. Why doesn't Zigong form a big vertical and horizontal alliance with Neijiang, Yibin and Leshan?

Zigong was once one of the largest cities in Sichuan and one of the three earliest modern cities in Sichuan and Chongqing. In the past 100 years, Zigong was the three major cities alongside Chengdu and Chongqing for most of the time.

However, the area of Zigong is too small after all, and its jurisdiction area is basically one of the smallest areas in Sichuan. In fact, although Zigong ranks in the middle reaches of the province, its development level is at least the top three in the whole province. Zigong's development has been seriously lagging behind in recent years. A remote and backward six-tier city in the west, the original industrial town has become no big industry, and large enterprises, Dongguo Factory, Southwest Sichuan Mining Area and Institute of Technology have all moved out of Zigong. It has become a city with no land, no airport, unattractive tourism and poor traffic. Apart from low income, high unemployment rate, high employment pressure and high prices, what has Zigong brought to the 3.2 million Zigong people? Why do Zigong people say that Zigong is poor? Who caused this? !

In addition to merging with Neijiang, I am completely alone. Neijiang in Zigong adds up to less than 1 1,000 square kilometers, and the two cities are not as big as Yibin and Luzhou. The distance between urban areas is only 20 kilometers, so they should be merged and developed together. At present, Zigong seems to be a completely lonely city, and there is basically no future for development. As a Zigong person. Obviously, Zigong is a city with no future. Basically, rich people buy houses outside. Zigong has a small territory and is not well-known now. What dinosaurs are just a few bone fossils, and salt industry is not good. Now that sea salt is abundant and cheap, chemical industry can barely attract investment, mainly because of the limited territorial development. At that time, as an old-fashioned city in Sichuan, the prefectural party Committee did not absorb the surrounding areas (Chengdu annexed a Wenjiang area), and the planning was unreasonable. The urban area is next to Neijiang. Now Zigong's only hope is to merge with Neijiang. Once the two cities are merged, it will be the second largest city in Sichuan economy and develop better. Investment promotion is stronger, so infrastructure construction is more likely to attract the attention of the state and the province. For the people of the two cities, this is really a matter of great interest. At least infrastructure construction has doubled in various investments. Zigong and Neijiang are both less than 5,000 square kilometers, which is really too small. Compared with Yibin 1.3- 1.5 million square kilometers in Luzhou, the scale of the city is really pitiful. Even the only university in Zigong has moved to Yibin, which shows that Zigong is really exhausted of talents and can't keep people. If Zigong and Neijiang don't merge, it can be said that they can't compare with Yibin and Luzhou in southern Sichuan in terms of investment attraction, infrastructure construction and other aspects. Zigong and Neijiang are his brothers, and it is best to merge. Of course, many officials will be involved, and some people are unwilling, but many people of insight basically support the merger of Zigong and Neijiang. At that time, the governors all said so, and the basic opposition was Chengdu, Mianyang and other southern Sichuan cities. Because this will affect their interests, and Sichuan is building Chengdu with the strength of the whole province, while others in Hubei are building Wuhan, Xiangyang Yichang, 400 billion to 300 billion, Sichuan Chengdu 1.3 trillion, Mianyang 207.4 billion, and others 100 billion. Obviously, the development is extremely unbalanced, and several cities need to be developed to share the pressure of Chengdu. The merger of Zigong and Neijiang is the best at present.

The two cities add up to 300 billion, but the quantity has increased, the quality has not changed, and the two poor people have become rich together. Who develops together first, and the other one doesn't need money? Together, the income has doubled and the expenditure has doubled. Does it make sense? Economic growth couldn't go up, and it was overtaken by Mianyang and Yibin in a few years. What we should really consider is how to develop the resources of our own characteristic industries and how to introduce funds for industrial upgrading and transformation. Now, transferring water from Yibin to Jiaba Power Station and starting Zigong project will alleviate the water shortage in Zigong.
