About LLM in America
I don't know what kind of question you want to ask, please be specific ~ because I just applied successfully when I answered the question, and now I have finished reading LLM. I have mentioned most of the application problems in my previous answer, so I won't repeat them here. Let's briefly introduce some of your concerns.
Region: If you want to stay in the United States or practice in the United States, you must look for big cities to study, such as new york, DC, Los Angeles and so on. There are more opportunities in big cities than in small cities, and interviews are easier to get. Even if a big city is not a top school, it will get more opportunities because the interview is easy.
Is it as difficult as the legend? I really need to read at least 50 pages of cases every day. I did feel a little uncomfortable when I first went, and my reading speed was slow. I will get better gradually. Not as tired as the legend says. The grades are above average, and the entertainment and study time is reasonable. There will be staying up late, and there is not much terror.
Job opportunities: I don't know where you are from. Mainland law firms pay more attention to whether they pass the China Teachers' Examination. Llm is recruited in large numbers by domestic and foreign firms every year, but the competition is still fierce because there are too many people who own LLM. In foreign countries, unless you are the top student in your class (and you may not find a good job), most LLM stay in the United States and work as immigration lawyers for China people, just like the legend.
NY Bar: Personally, it's easy, much simpler than the China exam.
These are all topics that I am very interested in before I go, for reference only ~ What questions can I ask?
