Can I apply for immigration if I am sued?
Hello! I'm Leo from Canada and China. At present, all immigration projects with immigration policies need to provide a certificate of no crime (some projects also need you to continuously update the record of no crime), and this certificate needs to be issued by the local public security organ.
If you are sued, but the court doesn't convict you, your innocence can still be issued. So if you want to apply for immigration, you can first see if you can get a certificate of innocence.
Finally, being sued is not a condition for applying for immigration, because sometimes even if I am sued, I will win the case and will not be sentenced.
I hope I can help you!
