Where can I get a visa to Oman?

China has been included in the list of countries in Oman that can apply for tourist visas without a local guarantor. China citizens who travel to Oman can apply for an e-visa directly online, without a guarantor, an invitation letter or visas from other developed countries. In other words, Oman has liberalized its tourism to China citizens, and when will Kuwait also liberalize it?

The place to apply for electronic signature is the website of Royal Oman Police: Oman Electronic Signature for official website.

Enter official website. After entering, click "Apply for an unsecured visa" to enter the e-sign application page:

Select "China" as the nationality and "No" as the Gulf country, and then click "Next". This website is a bit slow and needs patience.

The next page lists the types of visas that can be applied, which are: 10 day tourist visa, 1 year multiple-entry visitor visa (without local guarantor), 30-day tourist visa, and 1 year multiple-entry visitor visa (with local guarantor). China tourists who want to travel should choose "10-day tourist visa" or "30-day tourist visa" according to their stay days. The former only needs 5 Oman riyals, while the latter needs 20 Oman riyals.

Explanations and precautions about "10 day tourist visa" and "30 day tourist visa" are as follows:

1) must be G 1 country, and China has been included in this list;

2) The documents required for application are color digital photos, scanned passport home pages or clear photos;

3) Go to Oman within 1 month after successful application;

4) Passport must be valid for more than 6 months at the time of entry, and must have a return air ticket, hotel reservation and a visa valid for one entry;

5) If the stay period is 1 month from the date of entry, but no extension is applied after the stay period, a daily fine of 1 1,000 Omani riyals will be imposed;

6) You can apply for 1 extension, and the extension days are the same as the original visa;

7) Having a visa does not necessarily mean entering Oman, and the Immigration Bureau has the right to decide whether to allow entry into Oman.
