Where is Jiecun?

Jiecun, located in the southwest corner of Yuanqu County, is the seat of Jieyu Township Government and the cultural, political and economic center of Jieyu Township. Xiaolangdi Reservoir, with a land area of12km2, belongs to the resettlement village.

There are five resident groups in the village, namely Xiecun East Group, xie cun West Group, South Group, Niujiashan Group and Xie Qian Group. There are 247 households with 827 people in the village, with more than 200 laborers, and party member is 4 1 person. Among them, 60 people changed from rural areas to non-rural areas, and 422 people in 108 households after immigration.

The total land area of the village is 1077.7 mu, with 8,200 mu of forest land, including 487.5 mu of cultivated land, 590.2 mu of returning farmland to forests, and 0.6 mu of cultivated land per capita.

In recent years, governments at all levels are very concerned about the land reduction in the later period after resettlement, pay close attention to the later development, ensure the livelihood of villagers, vigorously adjust the industrial structure, develop 258 mu of apricots and plums, cultivate silkworm 150 mu, develop 5000 boxes of beekeeping, and raise sheep 1000. It is the basic guarantee of villagers' life.

The main road in the village is cement hardened pavement, which connects various natural villages. Beautiful natural environment and high overall cultural quality of villagers. The village is clean and tidy, and the folk customs are simple. The villagers consciously value learning over teaching, advocate science, have no feudal superstitious activities, practice new marriage customs, keep funerals simple, and advocate a new fashion of obeying the law and changing customs.

In the construction of new countryside, we should actively respond to the "four modernizations and four reforms", intensify the hardening and greening of village roads, deepen the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, further optimize crop planting structure, develop advantageous industries and characteristic economy, continue to develop and consolidate dried fruit economic forests, plant mulberry and sericulture, improve village lighting projects, strive to attract funds and projects, constantly seek new economic growth points, and promote farmers' income. Standing at a new starting point, the two committees of the street village branch will work hard together with the care of party committees and governments at all levels and the supervision and support of villagers' representatives to create a new situation for the development of street villages.

There are scenic spots such as Lishan National Nature Reserve, Wang Xian Grand Canyon, Pan Tian Primitive Ancient Forest Scenic Area, Zhu Feng and Xiaolangdi Scenic Area near Jiecun, and there are special products such as Yuanqu Kiwi, Acorus calamus wine, buckwheat noodles, Yuanqu Hericium erinaceus and Yuanqu Auricularia.
