The woman's parents can settle down with her son-in-law. On the premise that the spouse's account is registered at the location of the husband's (wife's) account, and the transfer formalities have not been completed, the spouse's account can be moved to the location of his account in the name of husband and wife. The parties may carry household registration books, ID cards, marriage certificates and other documents, and the specific consultation for the staff of the police station in the jurisdiction where the household registration is moved shall be subject to the other party's reply.

The process of account migration is as follows:

1. First of all, you need to prepare the following materials: my application for household registration, my current household registration certificate or household registration book, my ID card and a copy, and a letter of introduction or certificate approved by the village Committee or neighborhood Committee where the household registration is moved;

2. After preparing the above information, the applicant who moved into the household registration will go to the local police station to fill in the account change approval form;

3. Subsequently, the police station will review the relevant materials submitted by the applicant;

Citizens who move from rural areas to cities must apply to the permanent residence registration authority for moving out with the employment certificate of the urban labor department, the school admission certificate, or the approval certificate of the urban household registration authority.

Citizens moving to border areas must be approved by the public security organs of the counties, cities and municipal districts where they live.
