Brief introduction of Dingyuan town

Luoshan county governs villages and towns. In ancient times, it was called Yuan Yin Township. In the early years of the Southern Song Dynasty, it was the border of Song and Jin Dynasties, one to five kilometers south, with Mo Dou Pass and Dashengguan. Has always been a battleground for military strategists. Because it is located in the south of the county, on the Zhugan River corridor, it is called the South Gate. According to the records of the county annals during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a remote town 80 miles south of the county seat. In other words, today's Dingyuan belonged to Xianhuabao in the reign of Qing Qianlong and Lecheng in the reign of Guangxu. Later, it was named after the Dingyuan store in Baoding, Lecheng. In 30 years of the Republic of China, remote townships were established, 1950 remote areas were established, 1958 changed to townships, and in the same year, it changed to communes, and 1983 returned to townships.
