Dachaihu Economic Development Zone covers an area of 154.3 square kilometers, governs 54 villages, 1 community, and has a total population of106,000. It is the youngest provincial development zone in Hubei Province. The planned Dachaihu Immigrant New Town is located in the south of Wujing Expressway and the west of Sisha Line of Provincial Highway, with an area of 5.27 square kilometers. There are 20 planned construction projects for immigrant new towns, with a planned total investment of 654.38+0.7 billion yuan. The construction contents mainly include: building four new circular roads in the new urban area and constructing a "four vertical and five horizontal" road network system; Support the construction of sewage treatment plants and garbage storage and transfer systems. A centralized resettlement area with a resettlement scale of 20,000 people will be built with a planned area of more than 800 mu. In the middle of the new city, a small reservoir with a storage capacity of 1 10,000 square meters and an ecological park will be built according to the garden waterscape model. Construction of immigrant museums and immigrant cultural squares that highlight the cultural characteristics of immigrants.
