Agricultural Bank of China can open an account on behalf of Commonwealth Bank of Australia. International student customer: Smart Access student account.

Application materials: passport, study visa, admission notice, account opening application form.

Service content: If the customer is a full-time student, the account management fee will be exempted during the study period. Provide free debit cards and unlimited free electronic banking services (including Australian federal cash machines, debit card consumption, online banking, telephone banking, etc.). operating procedure

(1) The account opening applicant applies to the Agricultural Bank of China for opening an Australian federal account, and provides valid identity documents and application materials required for opening an Australian federal account.

(2) The applicant for opening an account shall fill in and personally sign the Application Form for Opening an Australian Bank Account before going to Australia as required.

(3) The Agricultural Bank of China examines the apparent authenticity and consistency of the applicant's application materials for account opening, and witnesses its autograph.

(4) The Agricultural Bank of China fills in the business recommendation letter, scans it, and sends it to the special e-mail address of the Commonwealth of icschina@cba.com.au and Australia together with all the customer's application materials for opening an account. All the materials are copied here and kept in a special folder, and the business files are kept for 5 years.

(5) The Commonwealth of Australia shall timely review the email sent by our bank. If the information filled in is complete, it will be transferred to the relevant department of its head office to open an account within T+ 1 working days at the latest, and inform the Agricultural Bank of China of the progress of opening an account; If the information is missing or wrong, notify ABC within T+ 1 working days at the latest, and ABC will coordinate the customer to supplement or modify the account opening information, scan it again, and send the scanned copy to the other party by email.

(6) The relevant departments of the Commonwealth Head Office of Australia will complete the account opening within 3 working days after receiving the complete application materials, and inform ICS China Branch of the account opening result. ICS China Branch will send an email to the account opening applicant within 1 working days after receiving the account opening result, and inform the customer of the bank account number and other information in the electronic form of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and remind the customer of the precautions by telephone.

(7) The account opening applicant will remit the money to the Australian federal account within 3 months from the date of successful account opening, otherwise the account will be closed.

(8) Upon arrival in Australia, the applicant for opening an account shall provide the original passport, visa, admission notice and other documents to the Australian Federal Account Opening Branch to activate the bank account, and the relevant Australian Federal Branch shall provide the customer with relevant bank information such as bank debit cards.

(9) If the customer cancels the study or immigration plan in Australia for special reasons, the Commonwealth of Australia will assist the applicant to complete the withdrawal and cancellation procedures.
