Format interoperability

IELTS officially recognizes two writing formats: top blank line and first line indentation. Don't use both formats at the same time! It is recommended that you use the top blank line format. The format of the first line indentation is not so clear, and it is a bit time-consuming and laborious to keep the indentation position of each paragraph consistent.

Insufficient space

IELTS writing, the number of words must be qualified. As we all know, if you have fewer words, you will be deducted. When there are too few words, the examiner will count them one by one. This whole process is very boring, which affects the examiner's mood of marking, so you must exceed the minimum standard of word count. It's good to exceed it appropriately, small composition 170- 180, big composition 270-280. Writing too many words will take up the last check time and increase the error rate.

Scribbled handwriting

Please keep the roll clean and legible. Don't be sloppy. I think the examiner can still accept ugly handwriting, but if the handwriting is as vague as cursive, then your situation is serious. Therefore, the test ducks must remember that ugly words are fine, but they must not be rushed so that the examiner can't tell them apart!

Copy the original problem mechanically.

Whether it is task 1 or task2, the topic should always be described as the first paragraph of the article in the introduction paragraph. It should be noted that it is not a copying problem, but a free translation problem. The key words should be replaced, because if the key words appear about three times, then the count of this key word will be thrown away from the number of words in the manuscript.

Feel free to add questions

IELTS writing does not need to add questions, just write the text of the article directly. If the questions are not added well, they will mislead the examiner. If you lose points on the topic, you will lose a lot.
