1. Foreigners should enter and exit the municipality public security bureau Apply for a visa through the administrative office (bureau) or the entry-exit management department of the prefecture-level public security bureau that has a specialized agency for entry-exit management.

2. Foreigners applying for visas must answer relevant inquiries and provide the following materials:

(1) Valid international travel documents, including diplomatic, official (official, special), official Ordinary, ordinary passport and other documents;

(2) Fill in the "Foreigner Visa and Residence Permit Application Form" and submit a recent two-inch half-length front-view photo without a hat;

(3) Supporting materials related to visa application.

3. Applying for a visa must be submitted to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ in person. However, the following circumstances are excluded:

(1) Application for L visa: Relatives visiting relatives in China can apply for it; group tourists can apply for it by the host travel agency; medical patients can apply for it by relatives or the host unit;< /p>

(2) Application for F visa: It can be handled by the reception unit;

4. Foreigners’ applications for visa extension, visa addition, and change are collectively referred to as visa applications.

5. After approval by the exit and entry administration department of the public security organ, foreigners can obtain the corresponding visa within 5 working days after the application is accepted.

6. Foreigners applying for visas must pay fees in accordance with the relevant regulations of the competent authorities of the Chinese government.

7. Those who take advantage of my country’s unilateral visa-free policy to come to China are not allowed to submit any visa applications to the public security organs after entry.
