Wudongde hydropower station is located on the main stream of Jinsha River at the junction of Luquan County, Yunnan Province and Huidong County, Sichuan Province, with a total installed capacity of 654.38+002 million kilowatts. After full production, the average annual power generation will reach 389 1 100 million kwh, ranking seventh in the world. It is also the largest hydro-generator set that has been put into production in the world at present, and it is a major project of national power transmission from west to east.
