1. Will the Maltese passport be cancelled?

Obtaining a Maltese passport also carries the risk of cancellation. 2. How to apply for Malta MPRP?

1. Be a non-EU, non-EEA and non-Swiss third country citizen;

2. The financial income is stable and sufficient to maintain the living needs of yourself and your dependents, and there is no need to seek help from Malta’s social assistance system;

3. Capital assets are not less than 500,000 euros, of which financial assets exceed 15 10,000 euros;

4. In good health, no criminal record, and will not pose a potential threat to Malta’s national security;

5. Pay a non-refundable administrative fee of 40,000 euros, covered by the purchase Commercial medical insurance for all risk illnesses in Malta.

6. The rental value of the property in southern Malta/Gozo is not less than 10,000 euros and the rental value in other areas of Malta is not less than 12,000 euros; or the purchase value in southern Malta/Gozo is not less than 12,000 euros. Purchase a property of €300,000 or a property in other areas of Malta with a value of no less than €350,000.

7. When buying real estate, the government pays 28,000 euros, and when leasing real estate, the government pays 58,000 euros.

8. An additional €7,500 for each additional adult dependent (other than spouse).

9. Hold qualified real estate for at least 5 years. After 5 years, you need to provide your residential address.

10. Donate €2,000 to a local charitable, cultural, scientific, artistic, sports or animal welfare NGO registered with the Commissioner of Voluntary Organizations.
