How did Zhu Yuanzhang's descendants become Manchu?

In the northeast of the Ming Dynasty, many Han Chinese immigrated to Jurchen areas outside the Ming Dynasty. These residents are called border people because they have lived with Jurchen for generations, and their culture is more similar to Jurchen. Nikan Wailan, who killed Nurhachi's father and grandfather, was a border resident of the Ming Dynasty. His name means "Han Yuanwailang" in Manchu. After Nurhachi occupied the territory of the Ming Dynasty in the northeast, a large number of Han people here became subjects of the late Jin Dynasty. After Huang taiji succeeded to the throne, he changed the national name to Manchuria, and included Mongolia, Han nationality, North Korea, Russia and other nationalities in the Eight Banners. These people are generally called Manchu. After the Qing dynasty entered the customs, many Han people, including the imperial clan of the Ming dynasty, were incorporated into the Eight Banners and became Manchu. After the rise of modern national concept, these Han people who were incorporated into the Eight Banners were also regarded as Manchu.
