Around the Tang Dynasty, a large number of Yao people moved into Lingnan area. At that time, Lingnan area was vast in land and population, and it became a paradise for the people of Zhuang and Yao to live and multiply. The indigenous Zhuang people like to live in lowland valleys and engage in rice cultivation, while the Yao people take the mountains as their home, slash and burn, and gather and hunt. Zhuang exchanged grain and iron products with Yao for mountain products, and the two ethnic groups complemented each other economically, forming a harmonious ethnic relationship. Historical records often call "Zhuang Yao" the same race. Huang Yao, located in Lingnan, is also the earliest resident of Zhuang and Yao. According to Huang Yao's folklore, the earliest local residents are Tao, Qu and He, and their surnames are Zhuang and Yao. Until the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the population of Huang Yao was mainly Zhuang and Yao. Anrakuji in Anle Street, an ancient town, was built during Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty to worship Li Daoqing, a Han nationality who conquered Zhuang and Yao Yougong in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. Xuan Lu's "Zhaoping County Records" (Qianlong) records: "anrakuji was built in Huangyaozhong during the Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty. First, Yao and Zhuang were rampant, and thousands of officers and men such as Li Daoqing made peace, so this temple was built, hence the name anrakuji. " Until the middle of Ming Dynasty, there were many Zhuang and Yao nationalities living in Huangyao area. Huang Yao's Collection of Juren Forests in Qing Dynasty also said: "The people are strong and miscellaneous, and they are strong for the indigenous people." [ 1]
