Which district of Fuzhou does Yongtai belong to?

Yongtai County is a county under the jurisdiction of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province.

Introduction:

Yongtai County, referred to as Yong Yang for short, is located in the east of Fujian Province and southwest of Fuzhou, bordering Fuqing, Minhou, Dehua and Youxi in the east, Putian and Xianyou in the south and Minqing in the north. Between 25 39' and 26 05' north latitude and118 23'-11912' east longitude. It is 84 kilometers long from east to west and 46 kilometers wide from north to south.

Terrain:

Due to the large-scale volcanic eruption of Mesozoic Jurassic and Early Cretaceous in Yongtai County and the neotectonic movement since orogeny, the landform of Yongtai County has risen intermittently and formed a modern highland inclined from southwest to northeast. The county is dominated by middle and low mountains, and the elevation of most areas is 500 ~ 1000m, and the height difference is generally 300 ~ 500m, and some areas are around 1000m. The mountain is very high. Due to the different weathering resistance of different volcanic rocks, the terrain is characterized by sharp peaks, strong cutting power and steep slopes. Only the intrusive rock area and some volcanic rock areas in Dazhangxi area are distributed in low mountains and hills and intermountain erosion basins. Roughly bounded by Dazhangxi, the terrain can be divided into southwest and northeast parts:

The mountains in the southwest are tall and majestic, with thousands of meters of peaks, fault planes, deep valleys and waterfalls. Among them, the nearly east-west main mountain range from Chishui in Songkou to Geling and Tang Qian runs through the south of Yongtai County, with a length of about100km and a width of about15km, and the elevation fluctuates from west to east. East Lake Peak is 168 1.9 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in the county. Its neighborhood is the highest and most magnificent in the county. Mountainous areas are often at an altitude of 1 100 ~ 1400 meters. The mountain ranges extending northward in Gaiyang and Changqing slowed down, and the altitude dropped from 1000 meters to about 800 meters. The mountains in the Chishi area in the east are slightly gentle, and the altitude is often around 600 meters. Further east to Linglu, the terrain is undulating, and thousands of meters of peaks are constantly reappearing. The height difference between the two sides of the stream changes greatly, and the terrain is steep, with many strange peaks, cliffs, strange rocks and cliffs, and some places look like karst. The terrain around Geling and Tang Qian slowed down again, and then disappeared in Fuzhou Plain.

The mountains in the northeast are relatively gentle, with an altitude of 600 ~ 800 meters, and the buttes are distributed in points. Hills and small mountain basins are formed on the eroded terraces in Dayang, Tongan, Yun Dan, Xiaba, Baiyun, Dongyang and Pangu, among which Tongan-Dayang basin is relatively flat and open, with an area of about 100 square kilometers, while other small mountain basins have an area of 10 ~ 30 square kilometers.

The distribution direction of landscape system in the county is obviously controlled by geological structure. Changqing, Gaiyang and Songkou are restricted by the north-south structure from Fuling in Pucheng to Songkou in Yongtai, and the ridges and water systems are mostly distributed in the north and south. Huikou-Songkou-Chishi-County-Geling is controlled by the Dazhangxi deep fault. The coastal mountains are mostly NE and NW, and the water system is grid-like, especially with Chishi as the center, and the grid-like characteristics range from 10 to 20 kilometers. Chengguan, Liang Qing and Hongxing areas are affected by the east-west structure, and the common ridges are east-west. Shizhushan and Yunshan areas are centered on the caldera, and the mountains are distributed in annular steps (each step often forms an annular cliff of about 200 meters), and the water system is radial.

Dazhangxi goes deep into the middle of the county from west to east, forming a corridor-like valley, which consists of two narrow hills, small intermountain erosion basins and piedmont erosion terraces, among which Chengguan hilly erosion basin, Songkou intermountain basin, Wu Tong hilly basin and Geling piedmont alluvial-diluvial basin are relatively large. The area varies from 20 to 30 square kilometers. There are dozens of tributaries in Dazhangxi, most of which form narrow river valleys and some small bucket-shaped and beaded corridors.
