It is an ensemble formed by more than 30 large-scale construction machinery and equipment working continuously and shuttling between construction vehicles. This is the construction site of Fengshan Reservoir Dam and Power Plant in Fuquan City, Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province.

The reporter learned from the Fengshan Reservoir Project Construction Management Office that the Fengshan Reservoir Project started construction on February 19, 2020, with a total construction period of 48 months. Up to now, the accumulated investment of the project has reached 36 1 1 billion yuan, accounting for 79.54% of the estimated total investment of 4.54 billion yuan. At present, the dam has been filled to an elevation of 892.0 meters, and the main powerhouse of the power station behind the dam has been poured to an elevation of 862.0 meters, and the water transmission and distribution project is progressing in an orderly manner.

Fengshan reservoir project is one of the large-scale water conservancy projects under construction in our province, involving most other infrastructure projects. During the construction period, professional projects such as water supply guarantee in Wengfu Industrial Park, rerouting of general railway, rerouting of G60 Expressway, 2 10 National Highway, rerouting of 220 kV power transmission and transformation project, rerouting of national defense optical cable, etc. were involved, and it was difficult to coordinate across industries and regions, which once restricted the project construction.

With the support of relevant national and provincial policies, the difficulties existing in the project were supervised and dispatched by various departments at all levels, and the problems in the process of project promotion were solved in a timely manner, creating good external conditions for the smooth progress of project construction. In particular, the document Guofa No.20222 mentioned that "the land used in dam areas and submerged areas of water conservancy projects should be submitted for approval by stages according to the construction order", which effectively solved the problems of difficult balance of cultivated land occupation and compensation and long approval period of land use in current water conservancy projects, and greatly improved the construction speed of water conservancy projects under construction. At present, the land used in the first phase of the project has been reduced by about 90% compared with the original one-time formalities, and the policy support has provided a strong guarantee for promoting the construction of Fengshan Reservoir.

"In order to ensure the orderly progress of the project construction, we take a non-stop approach in combination with the actual situation on the spot." Li, deputy director of Fengshan Reservoir Construction Management Office of Guizhou Water Investment Group, said that 24-hour uninterrupted operation has effectively improved the efficiency of on-site work. It is expected that the project construction will meet the acceptance conditions of sluice storage in June 2023.
