Zigong is a city with serious water shortage in Sichuan province and one of the cities with serious water shortage in China. With the development of economy and society, there is a serious shortage of urban water supply sources, and the problem of urban water crowding out agricultural water is prominent. The shortage of water resources seriously restricts the sustainable development of Zigong's economy and society. Especially with the implementation of the strategy of building a big city, strengthening the city by industry and coordinating urban and rural areas, the contradiction between production, living and ecological water use in Zigong will become more acute. Therefore, the construction of Xiaojinggou water conservancy project plays a very important role in alleviating the contradiction between supply and demand of water resources in Zigong City, improving the production and living conditions of irrigation areas and promoting local economic and social development.

With the joint efforts of China Water Investment Co., Ltd. and Xiaojinggou Water Conservancy Project Construction Headquarters, and with the joint efforts of relevant departments and design units of Zigong Municipal Government of Sichuan Province, on March 8, 20 10, the Ministry of Water Resources passed the feasibility study report of Xiaojinggou Water Conservancy Project in Zigong City, Sichuan Province, and officially submitted it to the National Development and Reform Commission.

2010 65438+February 12, the feasibility study report of xiaojinggou water conservancy project in rongxian county of Zigong with a total investment of 2.659 billion yuan was approved by the director's office of the national development and reform commission. Xiaojinggou Water Conservancy Project is located in Xiaojinggou Gorge, Baohua Town, Rong County, Zigong City, upstream of Yuexi River, a first-class tributary of Minjiang River, with a total length of 232 kilometers. After the project is completed, the total water supply is176.74 million cubic meters, and the controlled irrigation area is 36160,000 mu. Providing Zigong with 94.52 million cubic meters of industrial and domestic water every year can solve the drinking water problem of 233,500 people in rural areas while ensuring the safety of urban water use.

In order to build Xiaojinggou water conservancy project, in February of 20 1 1, Rongxian started the land requisition and demolition of Xiaojinggou water conveyance channel ahead of schedule. At present, the relocation and resettlement of Xiaojinggou immigrants has been fully launched. "This year, the task of relocating and resettling 8,000 immigrants will be basically completed." Resettlement involves four towns, namely Liu Jia, Bao Hua, Changshan and Laimou. The resettlement mode is mainly agricultural production resettlement, supplemented by self-employment, old-age security and visiting relatives and friends. They were placed in Rong county 16 town.

According to the design, 89 households with 308 people below the water level of 38 1.5m need to be relocated after river closure, and all of them have been relocated. The centralized resettlement sites of Yangjiashan and Tiangong Dam in Baohua Town are under construction, and the centralized resettlement site of Dengpo Village in Dujia Town has been put into construction. Xiaojinggou Water Conservancy Project is located in Xiaojinggou Gorge, Baohua Town, Rong County, Zigong City, Sichuan Province, upstream of Yuexi River, a first-class tributary of Minjiang River, about 80 kilometers away from Zigong City. The total storage capacity of the reservoir is 65,438+66 million cubic meters, with the maximum dam height of 88.37 meters and the dam length of 259 meters. The average water supply for many years is 6.5438+0.7674 million m3, and the total investment of the project is about 2.727 billion yuan. After the completion of the project, it can effectively alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of water resources in Zigong, ensure the safety of urban water supply and the development of industrial and agricultural production, and has very important strategic significance for promoting the rapid economic and social development in Zigong.
