Why do Indonesians look like China people?

There are about 300 ethnic groups and 742 languages and dialects in Indonesia. About 99% of the residents are Mongolian (that is, yellow race), and a few are brown race. It is said that they look alike, mainly represented by the Han and Zhuang nationalities in China, and belong to the same race as most Indonesians.

Professionally, according to the world race gene map, most ethnic groups and Indonesians in central and eastern China belong to the O-yellow race, so their appearance characteristics are similar.

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, especially during the Qing Dynasty, many people went to Nanyang, which is today's Southeast Asia, to make a living, so there were many people in China, and their looks were similar to those in China.

However, due to the long-term living in the tropics and the influence of geographical environment, some Indonesians are darker than us and look a little different.
