Canadian accompanying reading regulations
1 with a visit visa.
In fact, there is no separate visa category named "accompanying visa" in official website of Canadian Immigration Bureau.
Canada's short-term visas are mainly divided into: business visas, tourist visas, visiting relatives visas and super visas. At first glance, there are no types of accompanying visas in Canada, but in actual application, the Canadian Immigration Bureau classifies accompanying visas as visiting relatives visas.
In other words, if parents want to accompany their children, they can apply for multiple round-trip TRV visas, and the purpose of going to Canada can be confirmed as accompanying their children to study. The duration of this visa depends on everyone's specific situation and assets. Generally, the day before the passport is valid, it is a multiple-entry visa.
Parents can freely travel to and from Canada many times during the validity period of the visa, and how long they can stay in each entry depends on the opinions of the customs. Parents enter the country as accompanying students, and the Canadian government usually allows applicants to stay for six months at a time.
After six months, if the applicant has not left the country, he/she needs to renew his/her residence permit in Canada, which is what we call the visitor record. The replacement time is generally not more than half a year, but generally speaking, the replacement stay time is two or three months. That is to say, an accompanying parent usually stays for no more than 8- 12 months at a time without leaving Canada.
As for VR, let's talk more. If the child is a primary school student under 12, then when the student changes his study permit for the first time, the parents can show the customs that they want to accompany the child (the child is at the age of compulsory accompanying) with the medical examination receipt. Usually, the customs will give parents a VR, and the validity period is consistent with the child's study permit, usually until September 30 of the following year. If the parents have not changed at the customs, they can also apply after entering the country. Please note that they need to apply to the immigration office at least one month before the expiration of their stay. Application fee 100 Canadian dollars. At present, the latest probation period in August 2022 is 173 days.
