Where does "sunrise is sand and sunset is a thousand villages" come from?

According to the genealogy of Qiankeng Lin, Lin Nanshan, the ancestor of Qiankeng Lin, moved to Fujian in the late Southern Song Dynasty. Lin Nanshan's identity is "Chu Shi". There are many legends about why Lin Nanshan started here.

As the saying goes: make it at sunrise, the sand is long and positive, and rest at sunset, Qiankeng Village. This proverb means that in the middle of Qing Dynasty, Qiankenglin was named Fu Jia. At that time, Rongjiang was the main road. Ships from Shantou and Jieyang to Hepo and Wuhua usually stayed here for the night, while the descending ships happened to be at sunset, so they had to stop here.
