Jiangmen Wuyi Overseas Chinese Museum was established in 2002. In 2005, a report exhibition of cultural relics in the collection was held, which was fully completed and opened on 20 10.

According to Nie Dangquan, deputy mayor of Jiangmen City, since the reform and opening up, overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have donated more than 6 billion Hong Kong dollars and set up more than 3,000 overseas Chinese-funded enterprises in Jiangmen, with a total investment of more than 654.38 billion US dollars.

The reporter saw in this museum located in Wuyi Overseas Chinese Square in Jiangmen City that the building area is about 9,000 square meters.

The whole exhibition is divided into six parts: the dream of Jinshan, overseas entrepreneurship, the heart of a child, the rise of the hometown of overseas Chinese, a new chapter in the hometown of overseas Chinese, and the light of Chinese, which skillfully presents overseas Chinese cultural relics and historical stories to the world.

Nie Dangquan told reporters that the second phase project of Jiangmen Wuyi Overseas Chinese Museum is now in front of people.

The whole exhibition hall takes cultural relics as the main body, makes full use of scene reproduction means to cooperate with cultural relics display, and uses modern technologies such as sound, light and electricity and film and television means to interpret cultural relics and overseas Chinese history, so as to enhance the dynamic and interactive nature.
