B1 is equivalent to 500-600 hours of French learning
The requirements vary depending on the major. A2-B1 for science and engineering is OK, but if it is business, the requirement is B2-C1 , and it also depends on which level you are applying for. L1 and L2 have lower requirements than L3 and M. Applying for majors is difficult, and some ecole require interviews.
