Shenzhen Introduction
Shenzhen, referred to as Pengcheng for short, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province and a city with separate plans. It is a megacity, a special economic zone, a national economic center city and a national innovative city approved by the State Council, and one of the core engine cities of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
By 2022, the total area of the nine districts in the city will be 1997.47 square kilometers, and the permanent population will be 1768 1600. Shenzhen is located in the south of Guangdong Province, east of the Pearl River Estuary, south of the Tropic of Cancer, east longitude113 43' to114 38', north latitude 22 24' to 22 52'.

The predecessor of Shenzhen was Bao 'an County, and the main part belonged to Xin 'an County, guangzhou fu in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The name of Shenzhen was first recorded in the eighth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty. Shenzhen was established in 1979, and 1980 became the first special economic zone established in China.

Shenzhen is the foothold for South Vietnamese tribes to explore the ocean. The Nanyue tribe living in the coastal dune valley area of Shenzhen makes a living by fishing and sailing, and rarely cultivates.
