What are the formal ways to go abroad?

As far as the United States is concerned, there are the following types:

1 Student/Visiting Scholar. You can apply for a school project or a visiting scholar project and get an invitation letter from the other school to go abroad. Generally, these are self-funded projects.

2. Labor. Going abroad as a special labor service, or staying abroad for work reasons.

3. Get married. Your legal marriage partner is of foreign nationality, and you have a legal marriage relationship with him/her. After a certain period of time, you can obtain legal status in this country and stay.

4. Kinship. If you have an immediate relative abroad, you can send a legal derivative invitation letter to you through him/her, and you can go abroad.
