Baligou's information

Baligou Scenic Area is located at the southern foot of Taihang Mountain, at the junction of Henan and Shanxi provinces, 50 kilometers away from Xinxiang City and 20 kilometers away from huixian city, with a total area of 40 square kilometers. In the scenic area, the mountains are stacked and the rocks are rugged. Macaques leap over the stream and the stream gurgles. It is a strange, rigorous, dangerous and secluded valley where the essence of Taihang Mountain water is gathered. 1990 was approved as a provincial-level scenic spot by the people's government of Henan Province.

From Hongshihe Scenic Area to Hongshi Scenic Area, you can choose North Road or South Road. The north road passes the "first-line sky" or "one-step sky" sightseeing elevator, and the south road passes the Baligou plank road (cliff ladder). The zigzag iron ladder on the cliff is the plank road. Some friends will gasp and be afraid after seeing it. It's actually very safe. Baligou plank road is located 200m to the left of the Great Waterfall, with a total length of 180m and a vertical height of 130m, with 650 steps. The plank road is made of all-steel structure and was built in September 2000. There are guardrails on both sides, which are fully enclosed, fast and safe. The sightseeing elevator is near the "first-line sky" on North Road, with a height of168m. The reason why it is named "one step to the sky" means that visitors can easily step into the elevator and reach the top directly within 90 seconds. Middle-aged and elderly tourists and city dwellers with poor health can climb the triple cliff to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hongshi River, so that they can enjoy the "stone flower" nearby.

Look at the colorful waterfall rainbow, the breeze blows, the rainbow flutters with the wind, flickering and ethereal, like watching a fairyland. Climb the plank road and climb the mountain slowly: looking down is like looking at the world in the sky, with pocket-sized landscapes and microscopic scenes; Looking up at the precipice of thousands of feet, standing in front of you, the pine trees are upside down and intertwined, and timid friends will be frightened and shivering. The "Hongshi River" is located on the Hulu Cliff in Baligou. Because the riverbed is red sandstone, it is called "Hongshi River". This river originated in Shanxi, with a width of 20 meters and a depth of 0.6 meters. Because the altitude is1500m, it is also called "Taihang Tianhe". The valley is deep, the water is gurgling, and the river flows along the smooth and strewn at random red slate. Under the sunshine, it looks like a huge crystal plate, crystal clear and bright, like a stone playing the piano, and it is pleasant to hear. The green river is like a precious mirror, lying between the green hills. Against the background of blue sky and white clouds, it is dazzling and looks back step by step, which is amazing. There are eight huge stones in the Red Stone River. It is said that the Eight Immortals visit and take a nap here, so it is called "Eight Immortals Platform". People can also "become immortals" here, playing with water, sightseeing and taking photos as a souvenir.

There is a natural cave near Hongshi River, called Guanyin Cave and Qinglong Cave. The dog days are also cool. The spring water in the cave is continuous all the year round, with transparent water color, no impurities and odor, and contains a variety of trace elements that are beneficial to health. Sweet and delicious, suitable for drinking. It is used to make tea with three points of fragrance and cook with three points of sweetness. In the past, mountain people sold this spring water for 50 cents a bottle. Now turn on the supply and drink whatever you want. I promise you one cup to get rid of dust, two cups to get tired and three cups to sweat.

There is a valley on the north side of the mountain. The mountain springs gush out and fall from the rocks, like pearls, like jade, like needles, like strings of pearls, like thousands of pearls, one after another, never stopping, hence the name "Pearl Spring".

There is a deep pool in front of Pearl Spring, called "Black Water Pool". There is a story about the "Black Dragon Building a Palace" circulating here. It is said that on February 2nd every year, when the dragons look up, they gather here. One day, the black dragon volunteered to build a dragon palace here for the dragons to live in. Qunlong named this place Black Dragon Pool. The black dragon is very happy. Since then, it has constantly surfaced and is often found. It is said that whoever can see it will bring good luck for a lifetime.

After visiting the Jade Palace Cultural Tourism Zone, we will go to Yangzhou Scenic Area. The famous scenic spots here include the National Macaque Nature Reserve with the northernmost latitude in the world, Chaoyanggou Village and tourist service area.

From a distance, the platform is where tourists see macaques. Taihang macaque belongs to the national second-class protected animal and is the only remaining primate in northern China. Taihang Macaque Reserve is the northernmost boundary of the distribution of macaques in the world, which has high ornamental value, economic value, protection value and scientific experiment value, and has been identified as a national and global significance by WWF. The nature reserve has high mountains and dense forests, clear springs flowing, and groups of macaques often haunt it. There are four or five groups of macaques, ranging from dozens to hundreds in each group. Taihang macaques are bigger, longer, thicker and more hardy than southern macaques, and they all have double eyelids, short tails, shiny fur and beautiful bodies. They are lively and active, love to fight and frolic, and love to chase and jump. Each group has a the Monkey King, each with its own sphere of influence. During the operation, the Monkey King led the sentinel monkey in front, the old, young and female monkeys in the middle, and the strong male monkeys guarded and cared for each other. When foraging or resting, the sentinel monkey guards from a height, screams loudly when something happens, and the monkey acts immediately to ensure safety. What makes monkeys happy is the beautiful scenery in the deep mountains.

In the 1960s and 1970s, the Henan opera Chaoyanggou was sung all over the country. A small village in Baligou is strikingly similar to Chaoyanggou in the play in terms of geographical location, topography, production tools, crop cultivation, living customs and local dialects. Baligou Scenic Area holds Chaoyanggou Opera Competition here, which is arranged according to the plot of Chaoyanggou. Welcome to Baligou to experience Chaoyanggou: live in Chaoyanggou village, eat Chaoyanggou rice, sing Chaoyanggou opera, do Chaoyanggou farm work, and experience the natural wildness of living in a small village in the southern Taihang Mountains.

After visiting Chaoyanggou Village, the service area of Yangzhoudi is just around the corner. At this time, there are several tourist reception units such as Shanshui Hotel, Slide Hotel and Nanyang Hotel, and there are also a large number of commercial stalls and flavor snack stalls that deal in tourist souvenirs. Yangzhou ground service area is also one of the best places to watch the triple cliff landform in South Taihang. Looking to the right, the towering sightseeing elevator stands tall; The famous "first look at the sky" has a thrilling climbing path. The cliff is straight up, like an axe knife. It is very narrow. Looking up, I can only see a blue sky. People who like climbing mountains can fully experience it here. "Yamamoto can't make a way out, but if one has the courage to go up." Climb to the top of the mountain, where there is a flat road leading to Hongshi River Scenic Area, the source of the Taihang Tianhe Waterfall in Baligou.

Taohuawan Scenic Spot is at the entrance of the scenic spot. The mountain gate, the bridge head and the office building are all in the style of antique Hanque, simple and elegant, which fully shows the belief and pursuit of Baligou people for simple hospitality and harmonious management. Entering the mountain gate, you are greeted by a stone carving of the birthday star: the forest coverage rate of Baligou is over 95%, and the average content of negative oxygen ions in the air is over 5,000 per cubic centimeter, which is more than ten times that of downtown areas in some cities. The whole scenic spot is like a "natural oxygen bar". Therefore, since ancient times, there have been "frequent visits to Baligou, and you can live ninety-nine; People living in Baligou can live to be 190 years old. The small gray temple looming on the right side of the scenic spot is called Erxian Temple. According to the recognizable ancient monuments in front of the temple, this temple has existed since the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty at the latest, and it is an ancient temple with a long history. Looking to the left, the towering hills in the distance look like two fingers of a person. Its name is Thumb Peak. Thumb Peak's gesture seems to welcome everyone to Baligou.

After crossing the "Tongyou Bridge", you enter Taohuawan Scenic Area, where waterfalls and ponds are connected and flowing water gurgles. This scenic spot mainly includes Taohuatan, Taohuawan, Jiangjuntan, Taohuawan Waterfall and Jiangjuntan Waterfall. What you can see in the distance is Taohuawan Waterfall. The pool below the waterfall is called Taohuatan, and above the waterfall is a Taohuawan with an area of 20,000 square meters. On the right side of Taohua Bay is the lush Flat Peach Garden, and there is a very quaint Taoyuan Pavilion Hotel next to the Flat Peach Garden. Every spring season, peach blossoms are in full bloom, red is about to drip, flowers and plants are fragrant, and the air is fragrant.

According to legend, this peach garden evolved from the peach pit that Dong Fangshuo dropped when he stole the flat peach for Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty. So later, the Queen Mother specially held a flat peach party in Baligou, and this scene is still preserved in our Jade Palace Cultural Tourism Zone. At present, the water surface of Taohua Bay has developed projects such as flying rope, rocking bridge, bamboo raft and rafting, and there is a relatively open beach where you can stop to play in the water, and then visit Baodu Bridge, Jiangjuntan and Jiangjuntan Waterfall.

Baodu Bridge-Legend has it that this is the place where Ma Wu, a general under Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty, crossed the river with his calf when he was a child. Later, after Ma Wu became the founding general of the Eastern Han Dynasty, he returned to his hometown to build this small bridge for the people in his hometown. In memory of him, people named this bridge Baodu Bridge, and named the pools and waterfalls under the bridge Jiangjuntan and Jiangjuntan Waterfall. There is an antique building in front, which is a "Mawuju" tea restaurant built to commemorate Ma Wu.

Phoenix Grand Canyon is located on the right side of Baodu Bridge, up the mountain. It is inaccessible, natural and wild, and beautiful. At the end of the canyon is another big waterfall in Baligou Scenic Area-Honghe Waterfall. There is a sika deer domestication base in the canyon, and more than 200 sika deer are leisurely strolling in the mountains. When SARS broke out, these sika deer were recruited to build the SARS hospital in the "Sika Deer Garden" of Xiaotangshan Long Mai Hot Spring Group. And "immigrated" from Beijing Yanshan.

The first-line sky scenic spot is a very narrow ravine. In the past, villagers had a winding mountain road, which looked like a dragon from a distance, hovering between cliffs, and was called the "Dragon Ladder". Hundreds of steps are steep and steep. This is the only passage for Baligou villagers and Shanxi villagers in the past, and villagers have been shopping and transporting goods from here. If you are not careful, you will fall off the cliff. It is "Yamamoto has no way out, but if you have courage".

You can see that there are broken walls on both sides of the sky, which is full of clouds. There are many strange rocks along the way, which are steep and peculiar, and the scenery is excellent. Walking on the primitive mountain road, people sometimes bend their backs, sometimes lean against the wall, sometimes climb with their heads up, and sometimes overlook the ravine. The mountain road is winding and the stone steps are undulating, like a ribbon in the air, up and down, intermittent. Place oneself on it, all kinds of strange rocks and wonders, unfathomable and faint canyons are presented in front of you. Only when tourists walk through it and look up at the sky can they see a blue sky, hence the name Yixiantian, also known as Yixian Xiongguan and Tianchang Yixian Tianhe Waterfall Scenic Area.
