How to apply for a passport when going abroad to Mongolia?

Passport should be handled at the immigration office where the account is located.

I. Personal passport

(1) Materials and supporting documents required for adults to apply for ordinary passports for the first time due to personal reasons:

1. Valid residence certificate or other legal identification in the local area (original and photocopy);

2. Certificate of nationality and date of birth of the party concerned in China (original and photocopy);

3. Fill in a complete application form for passport, travel document and seaman's card;

(2) Children apply for ordinary passports for the first time for personal reasons.

1. A legally binding child's birth certificate, notarial certificate of parent-child relationship or court judgment, etc. (original and photocopy), and the certification materials (original and photocopy) issued by the relevant departments of the local government that the children have not joined the nationality of the host country.

2. Parents' passports, valid local residence certificates or other legal identity certificates (original and photocopy);

(3) Separate photos (refers to the separation of children from their parents' passports)

1. Original and photocopy of valid passport of parents;

(4) Materials and supporting documents required for private passport renewal:

1. Current passport (original and photocopy);

2. Valid residence certificate or other legal identity certificate in the local area (original and photocopy);

(5) Materials and supporting documents required for private passport replacement:

1. A written report on the loss of passport (and indicate the name and date of birth of the party concerned; Original passport number, issuing authority and date of issuance); Being able to provide a copy of the original passport will facilitate passport application;

2. Original and photocopy of local valid residence certificate or other legal identity certificate;

Note: For those who temporarily lose their passports, the Consulate General only reissues valid travel permits once a year to facilitate their return to China.

(6) personal passport extension

Conditions: If the passport is about to expire but there are still blank pages, it should be handled within 6 months before the passport expires, and each passport can be extended at most twice.

Required materials and supporting documents:

1. Applicant's passport (original and photocopy);

2. Valid residence certificate or other legal identity certificate in the local area (original and photocopy);

3. Completed "Application Form for Extension of Passport, Travel Document and Seaman's Certificate";

4. 1 passport photo.

(7) Materials and supporting documents required for personal passports:

1. Fill in the complete Application Form for Passport of the People's Republic of China;

2. If the application name is marked, a true and legally valid certificate shall be provided;

Second, the official passport

(1) Update, extension, addition and annotation of official passport.

1. Embassies and consulates do not handle passport renewal, extension, adding pages, filling and other procedures for people who go abroad temporarily on business;

2. After the approval of the domestic issuing authority, the embassy or consulate may handle the procedures of passport renewal, extension, adding pages and filling for the permanent staff on business. (2) reissue the official passport

1. Upon verification with the original issuing authority, the embassy or consulate shall issue a valid travel permit once a year for those who go abroad temporarily on business to facilitate their return to China;

2. Upon verification with the original issuing authority, the embassy or consulate may reissue corresponding passports for those who go abroad on business. Please refer to the Requirements for Personal Passport Replacement for relevant conditions, required materials and supporting documents.

(3) Procedures for workers holding ordinary passports for business to apply for passports.

1. Since April 1 2002, the newly dispatched laborers have been changed into personal ordinary passports for business, and the embassies and consulates will no longer handle the procedures for renewal, replacement and extension of ordinary passports for laborers from now on;

2. Workers who have used ordinary passports for business before April, 2002 1 should continue to use their existing passports until the expiration of their validity period. Ordinary passports for business need not be renewed. If the term of the labor service contract exceeds the validity period of the passport, or if it is necessary to apply for residence or visa for personal reasons, a new ordinary passport can be applied. 3. If the worker's ordinary passport is damaged or lost in the line of duty, the embassy or consulate may issue a new ordinary passport for the worker after reporting to the original issuing authority to verify the identity of the worker and the original license.
