Three major rivers in Xinzhou

There are three main rivers in Xinzhou District, namely, lifting water, pouring water and Shahe River, and 19 small rivers with a distance of more than 5 kilometers. The Yangtze River flows from the south, and the river network is relatively developed.

The Xinzhou section of the Yangtze River enters from the old shore of Huangpi Shakou and exits from Tai Po. The longest river is 3500m wide, the minimum river width is1.200m, the maximum measuring point depth is 61.75m, and the minimum measuring point depth is 20.25m, with a total length of 42.6km.. ..

The water lifting system starts from the southern foot of Dabie Mountain and Feng Bao at the junction of Hubei and Henan, runs through Macheng from north to south, enters the countryside in Fenzha North, and joins the Yangtze River in Tai Po. China's watershed area is about 1060 square kilometers, the length of the main stream is 5 1.4 kilometers, and the width of the river is generally between 200 and 300 meters. There are tributaries 135 over 5km in the whole basin, with Yanjia River, Baiguo River, Donghe River and Shahe River on the left and Tiaoshi River, Fuqiao River and Yanjia River on the right.

The inverted water system originated in Sigou, Qing Er, Xinxian County, Henan Province, and entered the territory from north to south via Hongan County to Fengjiji, and then merged into the Yangtze River at Yangluo Longkou. The basin covers an area of 378 square kilometers and the main stream is 43 kilometers long. There are 72 tributaries over 5km in the whole basin, with Xiadian River on the left and Qiliping River, Yanbaodi River, Jinsha River, Gao Qiao River and Yihe River on the right.

Shahe River system is a first-class tributary of the right bank of the river, with a total length of 37 kilometers, a drainage area of 44 1 square kilometer and an average inflow of156 million cubic meters for many years. There are 166 tributaries in the whole basin, of which 10 is the main tributary.
