The influence between Kyushu and Okinawa

Okinawa and Kyushu are different regions, Okinawa is the Ryukyu Islands and Kyushu is the mainland of Japan, so the difference is obvious.

Okinawa is greatly influenced by Kyushu. This is because the residents belonging to Ryukyu are the aborigines of Japanese archipelago, and their culture is relatively backward, while Kyushu has accepted many immigrants from East Asia. These Kyushu people replaced the aborigines, brought higher agricultural technology and iron, and strongly influenced the Ryukyu area.

Kyushu's influence on Okinawa is also reflected in language. Japanese grammar in Okinawa is the same as that in Kyushu, but only Ryukyu is obviously influenced by Kyushu.
