How long does it take to apply for a Latvian visa?

Information required for Latvia visa:

Short-term visa:

1) Business visa

(1) Fill in the complete visa application form and sign it by myself.

(2) a recent passport photo.

(3) a valid passport (the passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond the expiration date of the applied visa) and a copy of the passport (including the information page and previous visa page).

(4) invitation letter: the visa applicant receives the invitation letter approved by the Nationality and Immigration Affairs Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latin America not later than 6 months before the application date (the above invitation letter number must be valid).

(5) Original letter of introduction from China Company, including address, telephone/fax number, position and salary of visa applicant, working time in the company, purpose of business activities to be conducted, etc., with signature and official seal of the company attached. Attach an English translation or a translation from the country where the application is accepted.

(7) Effective travel health insurance policy (the minimum amount is 3, euros, the time should cover the whole journey +15 days, and the expenses caused by emergency medical treatment and the visitor's return to his permanent residence country or death due to medical reasons), original and photocopy.

2) Personal/family visit visa

(1) Fill in a complete visa application form and sign it by myself.

(2) a recent passport photo.

(3) a valid passport (the validity of the passport should be at least 3 months beyond the expiration date of the applied visa) and a copy of the passport (including the identity page and previous visa page).

(4) Invitation letter, which proves that the visa applicant received the invitation letter approved by the Citizenship and Immigration Affairs Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latvia within 6 months before the application date (the above invitation number must be valid).

(5) capital certificate: the original bank statement or bank transfer document in the last 6 months.

Long-term visa

1) Residence visa: Before submitting the visa application, the inviter should submit an invitation letter for approval to the foreigner service center or the territorial office of the Nationality and Immigration Office.

(1) After being approved by the Office of Citizenship and Immigration Affairs, the visa applicant submits a visa application valid for 1 days to the Latvian Embassy in China.

(2) Upon arrival in Latvia, you should go to the Alien Service Center or the regional office of the Office of Citizenship and Immigration in person and get a residence permit.
