The Historical Evolution of Liang Shi River Town

During the Beiyang period of the Republic of China, the northern part belonged to Jiagu City (Governance Huandun) in Ganyu County, and the southern part belonged to Taihe City (Governance Shahe) in Ganyu County. The former Chen Nan Township in the west belongs to Tancheng County and Linyi County.

Historically, the town was subordinate to Ganyu County, and it was included in Donghai County during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, and successively belonged to Moshan District, Henan District, Eleventh District, Ninth District, Seventh District, Eighth District, Fifth District and Lihu District.

1957, withdraw the district and merge the city to establish Shudun Township;

1958 belongs to Huang Quan people's commune;

196 1 year, the commune headquarters was moved from the stump to the south bank of Liang Shi River Reservoir and renamed as Liang Shi River People's Commune.

197 1 In April, the state unified the management of Liang Shi River Reservoir Area. With the approval of the State Council, Jiangsu was zoned along 20 villages in Linshu County, Shandong Province, of which 13 belongs to the East China Sea and is under the jurisdiction of Liang Shi River Commune, namely Xizhufan, Wangban Road and Yuanban Road of Zhufan Commune in Jiaolong District. Old Gudun, Xiaobuzi, Beichen I and Beichen II of Beichen Commune in Daxing District; Zheng Zhuang, Dongyao, Changsha Head and Chen Nan of Zhenhua Commune in Guantang District; After Dongshan and Xishan of Moshan Commune in Guantang District.

1973, the new village was divided into the former Shandong province 13 village, and the immigration office of Liang Shi River Reservoir Area was established, which was the predecessor of Chen Nan Township.

1983, commune changed to township;

1994, set up a township. Jurisdiction: Shengquan, Tushan, Zhang Hu, Chen Ling, Guaan, Shudun, Jiulong, Jiazhuang, Gegou, Liujin, Liang Shi River, Wang Bu, Qiandaiyi, Houdayi and Hanhu 15.

February 20 13, Liang Shi River Town and Chen Nan Township merged to form the new Liang Shi River Town.
