Chongqing Three Gorges University was founded in 1956. Its predecessor was Wanxian junior high school teacher training class in Sichuan Province, and it was renamed Wanxian University, Wanxian College and Wanxian Teachers College. From 65438 to 0994, Wanxian Teachers College and Wanxian Education College merged to form Sichuan Three Gorges College, which was upgraded to an undergraduate college. The school has three teaching areas, namely, Distinguishing Building, Shensi Building and erudite Building. There is also a community in the school, Nanpuyuan, where many teachers live.
