Where is New Zealand?

New Zealand lies in the southwest of the Pacific Ocean. Its territory consists of North Island, South Island and some small islands, separated by Cook Strait. The South Island is adjacent to Antarctica, and the North Island faces Fiji and Tonga. Wellington, the capital, and Auckland, the largest city, are located in the North Island.

New Zealand belongs to Oceania, located in the southwest of the Pacific Ocean, about 1600 km southeast of Australia, between Antarctica and the equator, facing Australia across tasman sea in the west, and bordering New Caledonia, Tonga and Fiji in the north.

New Zealand has 14 national parks, 3 marine parks and 3 world heritage sites, of which 1 is a dual heritage site.

National parks:

North Island: Egmont National Park, URI Villa National Park, East Galliro National Park, Wanganui National Park.

South Island: Abel Tasman National Park, Arthur Pass National Park, Cook Mountain National Park, Fjord National Park, Kahulanji National Park, Apisin Mountain National Park, Nelson Lake National Park, Paparova National Park and Western District National Park.

Stewart Island: Regiola National Park

The most beautiful place in New Zealand is Island Bay, where the main cities are Patricia, Russell and Waitangi. Russell was once the first capital of New Zealand, and Portia was in the middle of the island bay, with many hotels.

In Waitangi, 1840, Maori and Europeans signed the Treaty of Waitangi in the Treaty Museum of Waitangi. The house is still located in an empty and quiet park.

Other important attractions here are the Maori Hall with carved beams and painted buildings, the largest Maori warship, the tourist center and the art museum. Waitangi occupies an extremely important position in the minds of New Zealanders and is a "must-go" place for tourists interested in New Zealand history and culture.
