How to check the status of American immigrant visa?

It is recommended to check the visa status inquiry website of the US Visa Center. The following is the visa status inquiry website of American Visa Center: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx.

If the status is issue, it means that there is no problem and it has been issued, then go directly to the visa reservation website and check the passport status on the reservation websites in different countries;

If the status is AP, it means that the materials are under review and the waiting time is long.

Passports are urgently needed. You need to call or fax the visa center of the American Embassy in person to request an urgent passport.

Under normal circumstances, it takes 3-5 working days to get a passport from China CITIC Bank. If the review time is long, it will be longer.

Passport return time generally consists of two parts:

Consular processing time;

Express delivery time.

Consular processing time: 2~7 working days;

Express delivery time: 1~2 days;

It usually takes 3~ 10 days from interview to receipt.

Normal collection time after the US visa is passed: 5- 10 working days;

Expedited collection time after the US visa is passed: 2-3 working days;
