A Japanese study visa is a visa to study in Japan. Japanese immigration law provides two kinds of non-immigrant visas for students studying in Japan. The "F" visa is issued to international students who go to Japan for academic research, while the "M" visa is issued to international students who do non-academic or vocational research. To obtain a student visa, the applicant must first apply and be accepted by a Japanese school. When you are admitted, the school will send you an I-20 or I-20M form.
