The Historical Evolution of Yongtaizhuang

The Toponymic Records of Haidian District, Beijing contains: "(Yongtaizhuang), also known as Yongtaizhuang, means Yong 'an." According to the explanation, only Zhang, Wang and Fu migrated from Shanxi at the beginning, and they were miserable all the way. After they settle here, they hope to settle down forever and live a quiet life. Because the settlement of immigrants in the Ming Dynasty was often called "so-and-so camp", it was called "Yongtai camp", which means "Yong 'an" and is homophonic later. In the Qing Dynasty, a larger village was formed and renamed as "Yongtai Village" or "Yongtai Village".

During the Song Dynasty, the Ding family moved in and they had two sons. Ding Jia is arrogant and bullying the weak and afraid of the hard in the village because of his rich family. Later, the villager Qi Xin joined forces to drive away the Ding family and named it Yongtaizhuang, which meant that life would be stable forever and there would be no more bullies.
