How do Han people transfer to ethnic minorities?

1. The applicant applies to the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at the county level where the household registration is located;

2, the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at the county level to put forward preliminary opinions on the application for change, to meet the conditions of the application, within ten working days from the date of acceptance, reported to the people's government at a higher level ethnic affairs department for approval.

3, the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at a higher level shall, within ten working days from the date of receiving the application for examination and approval, issue a written examination and approval opinions, and feedback to the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at the county level;

Article 11 of the Measures for the Administration of the Registration of Ethnic Composition of Citizens in China shall apply for the change of ethnic composition in accordance with the following procedures:

(a) the applicant applies to the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at the county level where the household registration is located;

(two) the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at the county level shall put forward preliminary opinions on the application for change, and return the application that does not meet the conditions, and explain in writing the reasons for not accepting it; Eligible applications shall be submitted to the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at the next higher level for examination and approval within ten working days from the date of acceptance. If the preliminary examination opinions cannot be put forward within ten working days, it may be extended for ten working days with the approval of the person in charge of the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at the county level;

(three) the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at the next higher level shall issue a written examination and approval opinion within ten working days from the date of receiving the application for examination and approval, and feedback it to the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at the county level;

(four) the ethnic affairs department of the people's government at the county level shall inform the applicant of the examination and approval opinions within ten working days after receiving the application. If the examination and approval is approved, the examination and approval opinions, the citizen application form and relevant certification materials shall be copied to the public security department of the people's government at the county level.
