2.) Choosing a local insurance company in Thailand can be purchased from an insurance representative or a bank. I am impressed by the cost-effective international insurance in Thailand, and I can also use it.
However, not every foreigner can buy insurance in Thailand. He needs to hold a long-term visa and have a source of income in Thailand.
Visa types include work visa, pension visa, marriage visa (Thai spouse) and family visa.
If you buy insurance for your child, you need a guardian to hold a long-term visa in Thailand and have a source of income in Thailand. General insurance companies don't look at children's visas.
If you buy insurance with other types of foreigners, the audit department needs to consider whether to accept insurance according to the specific circumstances.
How to buy insurance in Thailand?
Contact the insurance representative, who will enter the information for review. Make an appointment with an insurance representative, select the insurance type and submit the information. The audit time of insurance information is usually 7- 10 days. If it is fast, it will be approved in four or five days, and if it is slow, it will take 20-30 days. Generally speaking, cases with diseases need a long time to review.
