Application process:

1. The visa applicant determines the purpose and itinerary of going to Canada;

2. Log in to the Canadian Embassy in official website to browse the relevant visa information;

3. Determine the application method:

Apply for online login, fill in the application form online and upload the application materials as required, and send the passport to the visa application center after receiving the notice from the embassy;

Written application:

(1) Download the visa application form and the list of materials required for visa application;

(2) Prepare visa application materials;

(3) Apply for a visa at the Canada Visa Application Center;

4. Waiting for visa review or supplementary information;

5. Get a visa. After obtaining a visa, you should carefully check whether all the information on the visa is correct, especially whether the start and end time and the number of days of stay of the visa are consistent with the application, and whether the personal information on the visa, such as the spelling of the name, is correct. If you find something wrong, you should contact the Canadian embassy or consulate or visa application center in time.

Canadian visa refers to the formalities that need to be handled when going to Canada from China. Visa is a kind of license issued by a government agency of a country according to its own laws to foreigners who apply for entry, exit or transit.

Application description:

1. China citizens who enter or transit Canada with any passport must apply for a visa (except HKSAR passport holders). If it meets the China transit plan, China citizens can directly pass through designated Canadian airports without a visa, but the requirements of the plan are very strict. Please refer to the website of Citizenship and Immigration Canada for details.

2. The Canadian Visa Application Center accepts all kinds of temporary resident visa applications (including work permit visas and study permit visas) and applications for permanent residents' travel documents to return to Canada. The website of the Visa Center covers the visa application process and other relevant information. Please read it carefully before submitting your application.

3. All immigration applications should be processed directly at the Canadian Embassy/Consulate.

4. Visa application fee shall be paid in RMB cash. No matter whether the visa is issued or not, the visa application fee will not be refunded.

Visa fee:

(1) Entry visa:

1. China citizens who visit Canada for a short time can apply for a long-term multiple-entry visa valid for 10 years or equivalent to the validity of their passports, and can enter Canada multiple times within the validity period of the visa. When to enter the country during the extended stay is decided by the Canadian immigration officer.

2. Super visa for parents and grandparents: Parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents can stay in Canada for up to 24 months at a time without renewing their identity. Applicants must be able to enter Canada and meet an additional requirement to obtain this visa.

(2) Transit visa: It is applicable to applicants who go to other countries through a stopover in Canada, and the stopover time of the flight does not exceed 48 hours. In order to obtain a transit visa, you must provide detailed proof of your itinerary.
