Where is Chechanggou Village?

Chechanggou Village is located in the southwest of Kuancheng Manchu Autonomous County, bordering Qianxi and Xinglong counties in the west. The whole village has jurisdiction over 15 villagers' groups, with 220 households and 753 people, including immigrants 130 people, who live in scattered areas. The total area of the village is 1.8 million mu, the area of woodland is 1.8 million mu, the area of cultivated land is 280 mu, and the water area is 93 mu. There are 33 people in party member, the village branch. The household income of villagers mainly comes from forestry, with an average annual net income of about 2300 yuan.

The advantages of Chechanggou's economic development are mainly reflected in the following aspects: First, the traffic environment conditions have been greatly improved. The village 15 villagers' groups are all connected to the cement road. Second, there are abundant forest resources. The forest coverage rate is over 70%, backed by Zaoziling State-owned Forest Farm. Third, characteristic agriculture has begun to take shape. Now it has 70,000 chestnuts and 380 boxes of China bees. Fourth, high-quality limestone resources are abundant.

Judging from the actual situation, the economic and social development of the village is at the middle and lower level, which is relatively backward, especially its remote geographical disadvantage greatly limits its development potential. The main unfavorable factors restricting development are: first, the industry is single. Mainly forestry, the development of secondary and tertiary industries is slow, the proportion of industries is seriously uncoordinated, the agricultural science and technology content is not high, and the degree of marketization and commercialization is low. Second, infrastructure construction is backward. Agricultural and sideline products are still mainly collected by shoulders, and farmers live in scattered areas. Third, the overall quality of the population is low. Education, medical care and other social undertakings have developed slowly, belonging to poor villages with a large number of poor people.

There are some tourist attractions near Chechanggou Village, such as Beaulieu Lake Tourist Scenic Area outside the Great Wall, Wanta Huangya Temple, Jiangnan beyond the Great Wall, Panjiakou Reservoir and Dushan Forest Park. There are Kuancheng chestnut, Manchu flag shoes, Kuancheng chestnut mushroom, Kuancheng blue printed cloth, Chengde silverware and other specialties.
