Is there karma in this world? Why do people who have done all the bad things live well!

It is said that people are doing and the sky is watching, but the fact is that honest people suffer and bad people live well.

See who's around,

Honest people in the unit always work hard and their wages are very low; Some people climb up the ladder, double their wages and wander around all day. More politely, they often find fault with their subordinates and tell them what to do.

In life, corrupt officials pay tens of millions of bribes and finally emigrate abroad; Ordinary people get a dead salary and are popular everywhere.

What's going on here? How to explain the Buddhist scriptures?

Hehe-in fact, there is such a story in the Buddhist scriptures. Reading it will help you solve your doubts.

Miscellaneous Notes on the Analects of Confucius records such a story:

When Sakyamuni Buddha was alive, there was a king who was a devout Buddhist. One day, a butcher who killed sheep wanted to see the king and asked him to grant him a request.

The butcher said, please give it to me whenever you need to kill sheep on holidays.

The king said that few people are willing to do things for others. Why do you like it so much?

The butcher replied, I used to be poor all my life, but fortunately I made a living by killing sheep; Because of killing sheep, he was promoted to the "four heavenly kings" after his death and enjoyed the blessings of heaven; After I die in heaven, I am reincarnated as a human being, or I kill sheep and ascend to heaven after death; In this way, VI was born to slaughter sheep, let me ascend to heaven every time I die, and enjoy infinite happiness in heaven; I traveled back and forth between heaven and earth six times and personally realized the great benefits of killing sheep, so I made this request to the king.

The king was puzzled and asked Sakyamuni Buddha for advice.

Sakyamuni Buddha replied that what the butcher said was all true, not a lie; The butcher once met a Buddha. He devoted himself to the solemn appearance of the Buddha, was born with kindness, and accumulated many merits. Because of these merits, he was able to ascend to heaven for six days, enjoy happiness, and then be born as a man with the power of destiny. Because he has merits in worshipping Buddha, he made it in the past, and his blessings matured first, so he can travel heaven and earth six times; It is certain and inevitable that he should be punished for murder, but the time is not ripe in this respect, so he has not been punished; When he dies and enjoys all his blessings, he will degenerate into hell and accept the punishment of slaughtering sheep; After the crime of hell, I was reborn as a sheep for countless times, and I paid off my life debts one by one; The butcher's know life ability is very shallow. He only knew that he had killed sheep in the past six lives, but he could not know the earlier seven lives, so he mistakenly thought that killing sheep was the reason for his ascension.

After listening to the explanation of Sakyamuni Buddha, the king suddenly realized. He continued to practice and firmly believed that good and evil were rewarded.

Some people say, why are good people not rewarded? Why can't the wicked get what they deserve? It is certain that good and evil will eventually be rewarded, but each has its own reasons and manifestations, especially the time limit, which is by no means expected by ordinary people.

-So, we should unswervingly do more good deeds, release more people, study hard, and never waver in our belief in Buddhism, Amitabha! There is no amitabha in the south!
