Handling Hong Kong and Macao Pass in Different Places

At present, there are 43 cities in China that allow people who are not registered in this city to apply for Hong Kong and Macao passes, but they can only go back to their domicile if they meet certain conditions.

(a), the employment of non local household registration personnel:

To apply for a permit to travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao, you need to apply for an appointment in official website, the local provincial exit-entry administration. Employed persons (except for national staff who have registered for the record) bring their household registration book+copy, second-generation resident ID card+copy, valid residence permit of this city for one year or more, certificate of this city for one year in a row, and photo+photo receipt to the Municipal Entry-Exit Office for handling.

(2) Non-local registered students

Non-local registered college students studying in colleges and universities should go to the municipal entry-exit office with their household registration book, second-generation resident ID card, certificate issued by the school, student ID card and photo+photo receipt.

The second is the method of handling Hong Kong and Macao passes in different places.

1. Log on to the website of the local exit-entry administration office to make an appointment.

2. After the appointment is completed, arrive at the entry-exit management hall at the appointed time and go through the formalities according to the on-site process.

Legal Basis Article 10 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration, China citizens who travel between the mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region, and China citizens who travel between the mainland and Taiwan Province Province shall apply for a pass according to law and abide by the relevant provisions of this law. Specific management measures shall be formulated by the State Council.
