1885: Taiwan Province Province is a province, which governs most Xiabao (the scope is close to today's Dadu District and some Longjing District and Wuri District).
1887: Huangxi Academy is a facade for Huai Primary School.
1920: Daduzhuang, Dajia County, Taichung County was established.
1926: In protest against Japanese retired officials' encroachment on civilian land, Zhao Gang set up Dajia peasant group in Daduzhuang, and later formed Taiwan Province peasant group with Jianji, which was a pioneer of peasant movement in Taiwan Province Province.
1959: In the August 7th flood, it was originally flooded into Dadu River in the Taiwan Province Strait, but it was diverted to its present position and became the boundary river between Taichung City and Changhua County.
