Brief introduction of Harvard AUSCR China-US Student Leaders Summit
In order to make HSYLC a truly meaningful experience, the organizers also invited professors, tutors and students from Harvard, as well as professors and students from well-known universities in China, and asked them to give lectures, give project teaching guidance, help with English learning and provide other guidance to the high school students in China. Under the supervision of lecturers and the guidance of Harvard students, members of HSYLC will also participate in challenging writing training and hold writing seminars to improve their English language skills. Famous politicians, businessmen and other scholars are also invited to hold daily guest lectures for members. Their profound knowledge and rich experience in their respective fields will certainly bring a lot of gains to HSYLC members. In addition, the organizers of the summit will spare no effort to arrange wonderful social activities for members of HSYLC, so as to balance the intense academic courses, exercise social skills and shape all-round talents.
The first session was held in 2006, with 3 18 students from 32 high schools in 26 provinces and cities (82% from key middle schools in provinces and cities).
