What is the EOI of Australian immigrants and how to calculate the score?
What is Australian immigrant EOI?
1, what is EOI?
EOI(ExpressionofInterest) is certainly not unfamiliar to everyone who wants to immigrate to Australia through skills. Translated, it is a letter of intent for immigrants, which is a document that the applicant indicates to the Australian Immigration Bureau that he intends to apply for a skilled immigrant visa. Submitted through the immigration skills selection system.
There is no charge for submitting EOI online. Because EOI is only a statement of intention, not a formal visa application, the applicant will not get a BridgeVisa after submitting EOI, so if the applicant's existing visa is about to expire, he must renew it in time or leave Australia as soon as possible before the visa expires.
2. Information that may need to be filled in the EOI.
Personal basic information
Nominated occupation
work experience
Academic background
English test scores
Career evaluation results of nominated occupations
3. You must submit EOI online before you can apply for a visa.
Business Talent (Permanent) Visa (Subcategory 132)
Business innovation and investment (temporary) visa (subclass 188)
SkilledIndependentvisa (subclass 189)
Skilled immigrant visa (subclass 190)
Technical-regional (temporary) visa (subclass 489) (invitation route: nomination or guarantee)
EOI will be stored in SkillSelect system for two years and will be deleted after expiration. Therefore, it is recommended that you submit EOI after your score reaches the latest minimum invitation score of this major. The applicant's EOI will also be deleted from SkillSelect in the following two cases:
1. The applicant failed to apply for a visa within 60 days after being invited twice in a row using EOI.
2. The applicant was invited and successfully obtained the corresponding visa.
The applicant can modify, update or delete the EOI information at any time from the submission of the EOI application to the formal invitation.
For example, after submitting EOI, the applicant has accumulated new work experience or completed higher education, improved his English test score or changed his family composition, which will affect his score in EOI.
After the information of EOI is updated, SkillSelect will automatically update the ranking, thus improving the chances of applicants being invited.
Step 4 remind the bill
① Although there is no need to provide any materials at the submission stage of EOI, once invited, the information in the applicant's EOI will become part of the visa application, so the applicant must ensure that the information provided in the EOI is true and effective.
(2) Visa processing will be completely based on EOI information. If the applicant's situation changes and is not updated in EOI in time, the applicant will not be able to submit updated information after being invited.
③ After ③EOI is invited, the applicant has 60 days to submit complete visa application materials.
For general skilled immigrants, under the restriction of immigration professional quota, SkillSelect system automatically sends out visa application invitations according to the scores. For immigrants with state or regional government guarantee, when submitting EOI, the applicant can specify the state or regional government he wants to be guaranteed. If the applicant designates a state or region as its own guarantee, only the government of this state or region can see the applicant's EOI information and decide whether to send an invitation.
